School Age (Before and After School Program)
- Our School Age Before and After School Program – 6-10 years old
- Staff/Child Ratio: 1 staff for every 15 children
- The School Age Before and After School Program operates 7:30-9:00a.m., 3:30-6:00p.m. allowing for students to safely and conveniently transition from school to childcare. A morning and afternoon snack will be provided. On non-instructional days such as P.A. Days the program will run from 7:30a.m.-6:00p.m.
- Educators provide individual, small and large group activities to appeal to different needs and interests,
- and provide environments and experiences to engage children in active, creative and meaningful play.
- Dialogue between the children and educators allows for ideas and opinions to be shared in a safe and respectful environment to ensure everyone feels valued and appreciated.
- A designated homework area is provided and educators provide support, if needed.
- Daily communication between parents and educators is encouraged to provide information on the child’s day.
